The pool water needs to be kept warm, hallway vacuuming should happen daily, repair work is necessary in the rooms, wall and ceiling water damage are major deterrents!!!

great access to parks and nature spots for city walkers

During my stay, the central location made it super easy to visit Tom S Cooperrider-Kent Bog State Nature Preserve, only a bit over 2 km away, and for those interested in history, the Kelso House Museum is just about a 15-minute walk from the hotel, making my weekend explorations enjoyable.

Room dirty an employees child set off fire alarm and we had to stand outside in heat for over twenty minutes. Pool was so dirty it was unusable and you couldn't even see the bottom

I stayed here while exploring the nearby Tom S Cooperrider-Kent Bog State Nature Preserve. The room was clean and met my expectations, although it had a strong chemical smell that took a while to air out. I appreciated the proximity to the nature preserve, which made my hikes super convenient. The breakfast options were quite limited and could use some improvement. It was a decent place for a short visit.

Truly enjoyed our amazingly clean and brand-new rooms, plus the staff was helpful. The breakfast had a wide array of options and included fresh bread and hot waffles. The room we had included a microwave oven, a fridge and a work desk.

This place suits me perfectly, offering free wi-fi, laundry, and an indoor swimming pool. On my first stay, the staff helped me with a local taxi number. Highly recommend for city trips!

I didn't like anything about my stay

I didn't like feeling like I was staying in a hotel in a third world country. Out of the one night that I stayed (I cancelled two nights because of the deplorable conditions)my credit card has had(5) days charged/pending causing my money to not be available to me. There was a bucket of sheet rock under the sink, apparently to fix the shower ceiling that was cracked and discolored. When I ran the sink, the carpet became wet in front of the sink. I should have left upon arrival. The thought of the potential of bringing bed bugs home with me ran through my head a lot. I know that a couple reviews sounded positive re: a room with a heart shaped tub. I never saw this elusive room. I believe that it exists, and those who win the golden ticket and get to stay in it are staying in the only room in the hotel that doesn't need to be gutted and repaired. Out of all of the hotels that are available in the Kent Ohio area, I truly believe that this is the absolute worst. I met the owner who is dismissive in his behavior, blames his staff for the terrible conditions and told me to calm down. If I were Booked.net, I would remove the option of making reservations at this hotel from their site. **When I uploaded my photos, they posted on the Booked.net sideways.*** Do I need to critique your site also?!?!?!
